UM LB Wangler out 3-4 weeks after knee surgery

Michigan linebacker Jared Wangler will not play in Friday night's spring game while he recovers from knee surgery.

Wangler suffered a meniscus tear and is expected to be out three to four weeks.  He posted Thursday on Instagram about his surgery and encourages fans to attend the spring game at Michigan Stadium.

Wangler, who is from Warren De La Salle, was contending this spring for playing time at linebacker, thinned by the loss of three experienced starters.
