Michigan gets four-star DE Luiji Vilain

Michigan received a commitment from four-star Luiji Vilain on Sunday – the Wolverines’ third pledge by a defensive end in the 2017 class.
Vilain is a 6-4, 240-pounder from Episcopal High in Alexandria, Va. He is ranked the No. 10 defensive end in the nation in the 2017 class by Scout.com and he is player No. 138 overall in the Scout 300.
Vilain chose Michigan over his other two finalists, Southern Cal and Virginia Tech. He announced his commitment on Twitter.
The addition of Vilain improved Michigan's 2017 class ranking to No. 4 from No. 7 according to 247Sports.com. The top three are Ohio State, Alabama and Oklahoma.
Michigan already received commitments from defensive ends Corey Malone-Hatcher of St. Joseph, Mich., and Ben Mason of Sandy Hook, Conn.
