Honigford made the announcement on Twitter, writing: "The only reason I am where I am today is because of God. He has blessed me an unbelievable amount. I would like to thank all of the coaches who have put the time into me and everyone who has supported me. With that being said I have decided to commit to the University of Michigan! #GOBLUE"

Honigford is a 6-foot-6, 278-pound 2017 three-star prospect from Sugarcreek (Ohio) Garaway and chose the Wolverines over Michigan State, Oregon and Auburn.

He is ranked the No. 47 offensive tackle in the nation for the 2017 class by Scout.com. He is the 17th Michigan commit for 2017 and the third offensive lineman.
