It appears redshirt freshman kicker Andrew David is transferring to Texas Christian University.

Andrew David’s private Twitter and Instagram accounts indicated he is, indeed, a member of the TCU football team. It reads: “Former Massillon Tiger #CSKTop12 – Texas Christian University Football #LilBoat”.

Michigan teammate Jon Runyan Jr. offered the first indication Monday when took to Instagram to offer his farewell to David: “Sad to see my mans P. David go, had some great memories with this two sport athletic specimen. Wish you the best at TCU on the field and in the diamond.”

Calls to TCU and Michigan seeking comment were not immediately returned.

David was recruited by former Michigan coach Brady Hoke and was on scholarship. He did not see any game action last season.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh signed Quinn Nordin, the nation's top-ranked kicker last year, and also has fifth-year senior Kenny Allen returning. Allen handled all of Michigan’s place-kicking and kickoff duties last season.
