Jon Jansen will have an even longer gameday work day on the Michigan radio network on Saturday.

Jansen, the former Michigan offensive lineman, already handles the pre- and post-game shows and halftime, but will be the radio color analyst when Michigan plays at Rutgers on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

He will work alongside play-by-play announcer Jim Brandstatter. Dan Dierdorf is the radio analyst but is dealing with a muscle issue that has put him on the sideline this weekend. He plans to be back in the booth with Brandstatter when Michigan plays Illinois Oct. 22.
