Ex-Wolverine Glasgow takes shot at vanquished MSU

Michigan safety Delano Hill (44) celebrates after Michigan State failed to convert on a fourth down in the first quarter.

For former Michigan center Graham Glasgow, now with the Detroit Lions, Saturday’s win by the Wolverines over Michigan State was sweet revenge for the way last year’s rivalry game went down.

After the Wolverines put the finishing touches on their 32-23 win, Glasgow tweeted: “Luck came before the fall.”

Glasgow was a member of last year’s Michigan team, which led MSU 23-21 with 10 seconds left before a fumbled punt snap was returned by the Spartans’ Jalen Watts-Jackson for the winning score.

That’s clearly the “luck” Glasgow references in his tweet.

Glasgow also reversed the script on MSU coach Mark Dantonio, who in 2007, shortly after losing to Michigan, said, “Let’s just remember, pride comes before the fall.”

Dantonio was responding to the now famous “little bother” comment by then-Michigan running back Mike Hart.

Glasgow did follow up his "luck" tweet with another: "Will give credit to MSU. Did play hard all the way till the end."
