John O'Korn warms up in the snow Saturday before Michigan plays Indiana.

Ann Arbor – John O’Korn will be the starting quarterback for Michigan against Indiana on Saturday.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said O'Korn would start during his pregame radio interview on Saturday.

Harbaugh added that Wilton Speight is "progressing and has not been ruled out for the season by doctors."

Speight injured his left (non-throwing) shoulder late in the Iowa game last Saturday. Harbaugh has maintained all week that Speight's status was day-to-day.

Speight was on the field Saturday for pregame warmups.

When the team arrived at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, Speight walked into the locker room and was carrying a bag with his left hand – interesting to note only because the injury was to his left arm.

Players and coaches this week expressed great confidence in O’Korn, who started in 2013 as a freshman at Houston and a handful of games his sophomore year before he transferred to Michigan.
