Michigan volleyball team loses to Creighton in NCAA regional semis

The 17th-ranked Michigan volleyball team lost its NCAA regional semifinal match to No. 21 Creighton 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20, 15-7) Saturday at the University of Texas.
The 12th-seed Wolverines finished the season 24-11.
Kelly Murphy led the Wolverines with 17 kills while Amy Cole had 15 and Claire Kieffer-Wright 13.
Jenna Lerg finished with 30 digs while Carly Skjodt recorded a career-high 21 digs to go along with 10 kills.
