Five-star offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, who had Michigan as a finalist, has chosen Georgia.

The 6-foot-7, 350-pound Wilson, from Brooklyn Poly Prep, made the announcement Friday during a Facebook live stream of what was called “Poly’s Holiday Chapel” which appeared to be a holiday variety show.

Otherwise, it’s been a significant few days for Michigan’s recruiting efforts.

Receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, the No. 1 player in Michigan, committed to Michigan Thursday night, boosting Michigan’s team recruiting ranking to No. 5, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Peoples-Jones is the second receiver in two days to commit to the Wolverines. Four-star receiver Tarik Black, a 6-foot-4, 208-pounder from Cheshire, Conn., committed on Wednesday. Brad Hawkins, a three-star receiver, also is expected to be part of the 2017 class.

The Wolverines now have 22 commitments for the 2017 class and is ranked No. 5 by 247Sports.

Michigan has a strong shot at Cesar Ruiz (6-3, 315), the No. 1-rated center from IMG Academy, who plans to announce Monday.
