Ex-Michigan OL David Dawson headed to Iowa State

Former Michigan offensive lineman David Dawson will play for Iowa State in 2017 as a graduate transfer, he wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
“I would like to thank God for granting me another opportunity to play the game that I love and also allowing me to meet such a great staff and team in Iowa State!” wrote Dawson. “I’m proud to announce that I will finish my college career in Ames.”
Dawson (6-4, 325 pounds), who is from Detroit Cass Tech, announced his intention to transfer from Michigan last Sunday.
Dawson played in three games this season as a redshirt junior and 13 in his career for the Wolverines.
