Kicker Adam Culp of Ithaca (Mich.) High has committed to Michigan as a preferred walk-on, Ithaca receivers coach Josh Rayburn announced Tuesday on Twitter.

Culp was 76-of-79 on extra points last season and 8-of-10 on field-goal attempts and had a long of 42 yards. He also handled kickoffs and was not the primary punter but had seven punts for a 34.7 average.

He also played receiver during the last two years. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Culp led the team with 40 catches for 567 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Ithaca is a five-time state champion and was runner-up last season.
