Tight end Ian Bunting to transfer from Michigan

Tight end Ian Bunting  announced via Instagram that he is transferring for fifth season.

Tight end Ian Bunting has decided to transfer from Michigan for his fifth season.

Bunting made his announcement Tuesday on Instagram.

"This has been a very difficult decision," Bunting wrote. "I have obtained my release. To my family, teammates, coaches, Michigan fans, and the University of Michigan, I will forever be thankful for the support you've given move over the years here in Ann Arbor. This place will always be a special one for me and it has been the experience of a lifetime. Michigan has given me the opportunity to grow not only as an athlete and a student, but as a man. Thank you, Michigan."

Bunting joins a list of Michigan graduate transfers that includes quarterbacks Wilton Speight and Alex Malzone and receiver Drake Harris.
