Berkley Edwards, younger brother of former Michigan receiver Braylon Edwards, will be a graduate transfer to Michigan, the Michigan Insider reported.

Edwards, who graduated from Chelsea High, has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA and will be a walk-on.

He played at Minnesota for three seasons and also ran track. Edwards then transferred to Central Michigan, where he played in 2017 after sitting out a year.

At Michigan he’s expected to compete for work in the return game and potentially at running back.

Braylon Edwards is Michigan’s career leader in catches (252), receiving yards (3,541) and receiving touchdowns (39). He played for the Wolverines from 2001-04.
