DJ Turner, a three-star cornerback from North Gwinnett High in Suwanee, Ga., on Monday committed to Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class.
Turner (5-11, 170 pounds) is the 15th commitment in Michigan’s 2019 class, which is ranked 10th in the nation by 247Sports.
Turner is ranked the No. 41 cornerback in the nation on the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Wolverines over a wide range of high-level offers, including Notre Dame, Florida, Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Auburn and Georgia.
"First, I want to say Thank You to all of the colleges who recruited me and gave me the opportunity to play football at your school,” Turner wrote on Twitter. “Thank you all for your blessings and your support throughout this process. I’m blessed to say that I have made my final decision and I will continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan! GO BLUE.”
