Eric Gray, the nation’s top-rated all-purpose back, committed to Michigan on Sunday, according to a report by Steve Lorenz of the Michigan Insider.
Gray, out of Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate School, joins recent four-star running back commit Zach Charbonnet in the 2019 class.
Gray is rated four stars and chose Michigan over Alabama, Penn State and Texas A&M, among others.
Michigan currently has the Big Ten’s No. 2 recruiting class, trailing Ohio State, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and is eighth in the nation.
Michigan running backs coach Jay Harbaugh was the lead recruiter in the effort to land Gray.
