Five-star Michigan RB Kareem Walker headed to Fort Scott CC

Kareem Walker, once a coveted running back who ended up signing at Michigan, reportedly has enrolled at Fort Scott Community College.
FSCC coach Kale Pick said during the recent Kansas Jayhawks Community College Conference football media day that Walker signed last Friday. Walker, a five-star recruit who had committed to Ohio State before signing with Michigan in the 2016 recruiting class, will be immediately eligible to play.
Pick said the 6-foot-1, 211-pound Walker could be an “impact” player this fall.
"We just signed him today, so we're very excited about that," Pick told reporters.
Walker has not returned a message requesting comment.
Walker did not play his freshman season at Michigan because of academics. In five games last season, Walker had 68 yards on 20 attempts and one touchdown.
