How big is Michigan’s season opener in prime time at Notre Dame on Sept. 1?
Big enough that ESPN’s College GameDay will be in South Bend to broadcast on location, despite the game being aired on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ESPN made the big reveal on Saturday.
GameDay features host Rece Davis and analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, David Pollock and Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard.
Michigan played in two games last year that were GameDay-designated — at Penn State and at Wisconsin.
We’re going back to where it all began ... South Bend, we’re coming to your city!
