Ann Arbor — There was no holding back, not any longer, not after all the years of pain. The Wolverines churned toward this moment, hurdling obstacles and doubts, and in a classic setting of swirling snow, they let it all out.

Pounding run after pounding run, they blasted through the Buckeye wall with a punishing performance that confirmed how badly they wanted it and needed it, and how badly Jim Harbaugh worked for it. After Hassan Haskins plowed for his fifth touchdown, and Michigan recorded its fourth sack, and the scoreboard told a tale nearly a decade in the making, there truly was no holding back.
