Clarkston's fourth-quarter surge was enough to earn a 63-60 comeback victory over host North Farmington in an Oakland Activities Association Red Division girls basketball game Thursday.

Clarkston, which trailed by double digits at the half, brought the score within six (43-37) heading into the fourth quarter.

With 1:42 remaining, it tied the score at 54, and would go on to hand North Farmington its second consecutive conference loss.

Erica Davenport had 29 points for Clarkston (8-3, 1-1).

Megan Carter scored 34 for North Farmington (9-3, 0-2), and Kierra Crockett added 14.

Detroit Southeastern 40, Detroit Cornerstone 27: Jakala Hollis had 15 points and Keeiona Howze had 10 for Southeastern (2-8). Cornerstone is 1-8.

Farmington Hills Harrison 51, Rochester Hills Stoney Creek 45: Nyla Warren and Amber Stephens each had 11 points and Katie Conrad had 10 for Harrison (9-2, 1-1 OAA Red). Maria Zandi scored 11 for Stoney Creek (9-2, 1-1).

Grosse Ile 40, Milan 31: Morgan Swick had nine points for Grosse Ile (10-0, 6-0 Huron). Riley Burgess scored 10 for Milan (3-7, 0-6).

Harper Woods 63, Warren Michigan Collegiate 23: Micah White had 21 points and Leante Larkins and Tabriel Cooks each had 15 for Harper Woods (10-2).

Oak Park 59, Farmington 41: Khadijah Lucas had 18 points and Chakayla Wilson had 11 for Oak Park (5-3, 2-0 OAA Blue).

Oxford 45, Auburn Hills Avondale 26: Jessica Murphy scored 19 and Skye Donaldson 11 for Oxford (8-4). Aaliya Mason had 15 points for Avondale (3-7).

Boys basketball

Madison Heights Madison 56, St. Clair 36: Marqwen Carruthers scored 17 points, Daniel Feagin had 12 and Armani Nelson 10 for Madison (6-3). St. Clair is 6-3.

New Haven 83, Sterling Heights 44: Dmonta Harris had 26 points and 20 rebounds, Austin Sherrell had 20 points and Alante Stevens and Innocent Nwoko each scored 10 for New Haven (10-0, 5-0 MAC Gold). Jordan Peoples had 12 points for Sterling Heights.

Southgate Anderson 49, Woodhaven-Brownstown 44: Trey Harris scored 13 and Brandon Hill 10 points Southgate (6-3, 5-1 Downriver). Nicholas Towianski had 20 points for Woodhaven (5-4, 3-3).

Taylor Kennedy 69, Allen Park 44: Andia Marsh had 20 points and Ciante Roach had 12 for Kennedy (7-2). Antonio Reviere scored 18 for Allen Park (7-2).

Utica Eisenhower 73, Macomb Township L'Anse Creuse 42: Tavon Allison had 10 points for L'Anse Creuse (5-4).

Warren Mott 68, Macomb L'Anse Creuse North 65: Derek Murphy had 20 points and 15 rebounds, and Fred Saffold had 15 points for Mott (4-5, 2-2 MAC Red). Andre Johnson scored 21 for North (3-7, 2-2).

Ice hockey

Farmington 4, Walled Lake Western 2: Jordan Hoke scored twice and Joe Majoros and Drake Cole added goals for Farmington (5-8-2). Chris Donaldson scored twice for Western (8-5-0).
