A big third quarter for host Royal Oak propelled it to a 45-35 girls basketball win over Farmington Thursday night.
Coming out of the half with a four-point lead, Royal Oak then went on an 18-11 run in the third quarter to take an 11-point lead into the fourth.
"We exchanged some baskets, but the run gave us the lead," Royal Oak coach Brian Sopata said. "We were able to answer and when you're up exchanging baskets, it's fine."
Bailey Haran, who had a game-high 18 points, hit three 3-pointers in the quarter and Gianna Valente had a nice game distributing the ball, collecting seven assists.
Allison Karpinski chipped in 10 points for Royal Oak (12-6, 7-1 OAA Blue).
Taylor Suurmeyer scored 11 for Farmington (4-13, 2-6).

Plymouth 55, Livonia Churchill 40: Kendall Rose had 33 points (school record) and Patti Begoske had 12 for Plymouth (16-2). Churchill is 10-8.
Waterford Kettering 42, Hartland 34: Lillia Schoof had 15 points for Kettering (18-0). Lexey Tobel and Garysen Cockerham scored 12 each for Hartland (13-5).
Ypsilanti Arbor Prep 49, Chandler Park 17: Payton Sims and Nastassja Chambers each had 11 points for Arbor Prep (14-3).
Detroit Henry Ford 74, Detroit Old Redford Academy 60: Joshua Davis had 18 points and eight rebounds, DaMon Gilmour scored 11 and James Towns 10 for Henry Ford (14-5). Brandon Adolf had 18 points for Old Redford (8-7).
Inkster Peterson Warren Academy 68, Taylor Baptist Park 60: Donovan Baxter had 28 points and Eric Walker had 19 for Peterson Warren Academy (8-5).
Lutheran Westland 62, Westland Huron Valley Lutheran 51: Zach Burk scored 20 and Luke Smith 16 for Lutheran Westland (8-7, 6-4 MIAC Red). Austin Bell had 31 points for Huron Valley (5-11, 3-8).
New Haven 73, Utica Ford 64: D'Monta Harris had 24 points and 12 rebounds and Austin Sherrell had 11 points for New Haven (17-0).
Taylor Kennedy 80, Woodhaven 69: Anton Hogan had 27 points and Andia Marsh had 25 for Kennedy (14-2). Rashad Johnson scored 15 for Woodhaven.
Utica 50, Port Huron Northern 37: Joe Brown had 12 points and A.J. Willson and Kris Zaclli had 10 each for Utica (9-7, 9-3 MAC Blue). Northern is 3-14, 1-11.
