Saturday's roundup: Durkin brothers lead Notre Dame Prep in win

Quarterback Matt Durkin connected with twin brother Andy on a 32-yard TD strike with 7 minutes left to lift Pontiac Notre Dame Prep to a 21-14 victory over Warren Michigan Collegiate Saturday in high school football.

Matt Durkin also rushed for 112 yards on 20 carries, including a TD, and Pat Anger ran for 125 yards and a TD for Notre Dame (3-0). Jamell Green scored on an 82-yard run for Collegiate (1-2).

Grosse Pointe University Liggett 23, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 6: Charles Caine ran for 163 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Gushee caught a 45-yard TD pass for Liggett (2-1).

Detroit Denby 14, Detroit Renaissance 13: Adonte Calhoun had 75 total yards and Lamont Montgomery had a pair of interceptions for Denby (2-1).

Detroit University Prep 54, Romulus Summit Academy 0: Tyke Smith ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns and had a 65-yard punt return for a TD, and Demarco Henry had 50 rushing yards and a TD for University Prep (2-1).
