Berkley held off Birmingham Seaholm, 45-43, in overtime Wednesday night in an Oakland Activities Association boys basketball crossover game.

Brady Flynn hit a pressure-packed free throw for Seaholm after scoring and being fouled in the waning seconds of regulation to complete the three-point play and tie the game at 39-39 .

But Berkley (3-3) proved to be too much inside, getting a couple easy buckets in what was otherwise an offensively challenged overtime for both teams. A potential game-winning halfcourt shot at the buzzer came up short for Seaholm.

Jerome Cobb led the way for Berkley with 19 points, while Flynn paced Seaholm (1-4) with 13.
