In what has been an “inconsistent” season as described by head coach Russ Collins, Armada had one of its good nights Wednesday, defeating visiting Memphis, 65-52, thanks to a big first half.
“Today we played well early,” Collins said. “ It was one of those games you played in two halves.”
Led by Mitchell Ruczynski, who hit five 3-pointers in the first half, Armada (5-5) got out to a 38-26 first-half lead.
“We just kinda cruised from there,” said Collins.
Ruczynski had 20 total points.
Adam Job added 11 for Armada.
Wesley Wolschleger scored 23 for Memphis (1-11).
