Four girls scored in double figures for Farmington Hills Mercy, as it advanced to the Catholic League A-B semifinals Saturday with a 68-32 win over Allen Park Cabrini.

Chloe Godbold had 14 points, Zora Pullen 11, and Jackie Bauer and Clair Murray scored 10 each for Mercy (13-4).

“We had a number of people who really shot the ball well as evidenced by us having four kids in double figures,” Mercy coach Gary Morris said. “We did a good job sharing the basketball.”

Mercy will play Livonia Ladywood Wednesday at Detroit Catholic Central.

Mercy led the entire game. It was ahead 24-9 after one and 44-20 at the half.

“We set the tempo right from the start,” Morris said.

Even with a big lead, Mercy did not let up in the second half.

“We came out in the third quarter and we still played with a lot of intensity,” Morris said. “I give a lot of credit to Cabrini, they played hard the entire game.”

Mercy beat Ladywood twice in the regular season, 52-28 at home on Jan. 19 and 47-34 at Ladywood on Feb. 5.

“Ladywood played us tough the second time and they’re coming off an emotional win (over Dearborn Divine Child) today,” Morris said. “We’re sure they’re going to come ready to get after us.”

Abigail Burke scored 12 for Cabrini (6-10).
