Saturday’s roundup: De La Salle sweeps U-D Jesuit

Warren De La Salle got two outstanding pitching performances Saturday and swept a home baseball doubleheader against U-D Jesuit, 7-2 in the opener and 6-0 in the nightcap.

In the first game, Easton Sikorski pitched a complete game, giving up four hits and striking out five. He also helped himself with a pair of hits and an RBI.

In the second game, Darren Rydzewski also pitched a complete game two-hitter. Jake Badalamenti went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

De La Salle is 10-6 overall and 7-5 in the Catholic League.
