Detroit Cass Tech star receiver / defensive back Donovan Peoples-Jones has been named to the All-USA Preseason Football Team, selected by USA Today.

The offense was revealed on Tuesday and the defense will be announced on Wednesday.

Peoples-Jones (6-2, 175 pounds) is one of the most sought-after recruits in the nation for the 2017 class. He is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 1 receiver in Michigan by Scout.com. He is also the No. 33 player overall on the Scout 300.

Michigan and Michigan State are both high on Peoples-Jones’ list of favorites.

Peoples-Jones made The Detroit News Dream Team last year after totaling 68 catches for 1,161 yards and 18 TDs, leading Cass Tech to the Division 1 state championship game.

Quarterback Dylan McCaffrey of Littleton, Colorado, who is committed to Michigan’s 2017 recruiting class, also is on the All-USA Team.
