West Bloomfield will pose test for Farmington Harrison

John Herrington is proud of how well his Farmington Hills Harrison defense has played the past couple of weeks.
But the legendary coach knows his defense faces a challenge against West Bloomfield on Friday night in an OAA crossover at Harrison.
“It should be a great game,” Herrington said of facing West Bloomfield quarterback Bryce Veasley. “He can do it all. He throws the ball deep really well. He’s big, tough to tackle and they have great receivers so it’s going to be a challenge to stop their passing game.”
While Harrison (2-1) has played well defensively in victories over Farmington and Birmingham Seaholm, Herrington has worked with two quarterbacks, Noah Hendricks and Jimmy O’Connor.
“(It’s) not the greatest thing, but the last game Jimmy O’Connor played the whole game because Noah Hendricks was hurt and Jimmy did a nice job, going 9-for-12 for 150 yards,” Herrington said.
Pick: West Bloomfield by 8
