Saturday’s roundup: St. Mary’s blanks Brother Rice

RaShawn Allen had 21 carries for 129 yards and a 28-yard touchdown, leading Orchard Lake St. Mary’s to a 21-0 victory over Birmingham Brother Rice on Saturday night.

Josh Ross led the St. Mary’s defense with seven solo tackles, five assists and one forced fumble.

Allen scored his TD in the first quarter, and the game remained 7-0 until the fourth, when Kyren Cunningham scored on a 29-yard run and Clay Antishin caught an 18-yard scoring pass from Caden Prieskorn.

St. Mary's had 258 rushing yards to just 44 for Brother Rice.

St. Mary’s is 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the Catholic League Central; Brother Rice is 3-3 and 1-2.
