Clarkston junior point guard Foster Loyer, a Michigan State commitment, saw his streak of 119 consecutive free throws made come to an end, but his team still rolled to a 59-39 victory over North Farmington on Tuesday.

According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, Loyer’s streak was the second-best nationally, just seven shots shy of Daryl Moreau, who made 126 in a row for New Orleans (La.) De La Salle from Jan. 17, 1978, through Jan. 9, 1979.

The streak also is the best in the state, passing Frankenmuth’s Brad Redford, who made 102 from Dec. 15, 2007, through Dec. 9, 2008.

Clarkston (11-0, 3-0 OAA Red) plays Bloomfield Hills on Thursday.

North Farmington (2-6, 0-3) plays Southfield A&T on Thursday.
