Wednesday’s roundup: Detroit PSA edges Armada

Detroit Public Safety Academy defeated Armada, 70-64, in a non-league high school boys basketball game Wednesday night.

Michael Smith scored 15 points for Public Safety Academy and Thomas Henderson scored 12.

Mitch Ruczynski led Armada with 17 points.

Public Safety Academy is 11-5. Armada is 8-9.

More boys basketball

Dearborn Heights Annapolis 59, Tecumseh 30: Alex Ismail scored 20 and had 10 rebounds and Jalen Turner scored 10 for Annapolis (10-7).

North Farmington 70, Rochester Adams 61: Amauri Hardy scored 36 and Nate Brooks 18 for North Farmington (9-8, 5-3 OAA Red). Jack Jenkins scored 16 and John Gurraj 15 for Adams (0-18, 0-8).

Girls basketball

Macomb Dakota 47, Utica Ford 35: Emily Langolf scored 16 and Taylor Williams 12 for Dakota (14-6). Julia Cianferra scored 22 for Ford (17-3).

St. Clair Shores Lakeview 44, Macomb Township L’Anse Creuse 23: Nicole Austin had 10 points, eight assists and six steals for Lakeview (19-1). L’Anse Creuse is 8-12.

Trenton 52, Grosse Ile 34: Therese Hebda and Sydney Voss each scored 10 for Trenton (16-3).
