After losing its first two conference games, Grosse Pointe North earned a share of the regular season Macomb Area Conference Red title after defeating Port Huron Northern, 52-49, in girls basketball.

North (12-3, 8-2) is MAC Red co-champions with Macomb Dakota (13-3, 8-2). The MAC Red/White tournament starts next week.

Julia Ayrault (Michigan State) finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Josie Ciaravino added 14 points for Grosse Pointe North.

Sami Klink had 15 points and Olivia Ramsey 10 for Port Huron Northern (10-7, 4-6 MAC Red).

Macomb Dakota and Grosse Pointe North have split the series this season.  In the first meeting, Dakota defeated North, 73-51, and North got a chance at revenge in the second encounter, defeating Dakota 66-63.

North finished conference play its last eight games.

Detroit King 63, Detroit Cody 44: In a PSL quarterfinal, Jordan Lewis had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Deljanae Williams 14 points and eight assists and Diamond Cannon 13 points and six rebounds for King (13-2).

Detroit Jalen Rose Leadership Academy 48, Pontiac Academy for Excellence 13: Anaya Bouyer had 31 points for Detroit Jalen Rose (2-8).

Detroit Renaissance 67, Detroit CMA 21: In a PSL quarterfinal, Kailee Davis had 20 points for Renaissance (11-6).
