Lance Dixon, a four-star linebacker from West Bloomfield, has committed to Penn State’s 2019 recruiting class, choosing the Nittany Lions over his other finalists: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Dixon (6-2, 200) is ranked the No. 16 outside linebacker nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He is ranked the No. 7 player overall in Michigan.

Dixon’s commitment follows the Friday night pledge his West Bloomfield teammate, wide receiver Tre Mosley, made to Michigan State.

Dixon made The Detroit News All-North second team last year.
