Detroit — The Tigers have made another change to their seating at Comerica Park.

They are taking out 107 seats — 104 in the bleachers, and three in the right-field grandstands — to improve some of the ballpark's sight lines, the team said Wednesday.

That means Comerica Park's official capacity will drop to 41,574. This is the second year they've lowered capacity; they've increased capacity three times since opening in 2000. The Tigers often draw more than the official capacity, because of their ability to sell thousands of standing-room tickets for the most in-demand games.

Earlier this offseason, the Tigers announced the addition of a new "lower infield box," which takes the first 10 rows away from the old box-seat section as a way to increase revenues.
