Cleveland's starting pitcher T.J. House (58) pitches in the first inning. He was named as the starter in place of Trevor Bauer.

– The Tigers offense may have caught a break Saturday.

Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer was a late scratch due to illness. Left-hander TJ House, whom the Tigers roughed up two weeks ago in Cleveland, replaced him.

The Tigers scored six runs on six hits off House in 1.1 innings on April 12.

Bauer walked off the field soon after he began his pregame warm-ups. The Indians gave no other details except that he was ill.
