Tigers-Angels lineups: Sanchez out to quell Angels' hot bats

The Tigers (28-21) continue their four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels (24-24) on Friday at Angel Stadium of Anaheim (FSD/1270 AM and 97.1 FM). First pitch is 10:05.

The Tigers were soundly beaten 12-2 in opener as the Angels roughed up starter Buck Farmer for seven earned runs on nine hits, including two home runs, in five innings. Reliever Tom Gorzelanny was also shelled for four earned runs in .2 innings of work as Los Angeles unleased a 13-hit attack.

Right-hander Anibal Sanchez (2-3, 6.12 ERA) starts for the Tigers. Left-hander Hector Santiago (3-3, 2.47) counters for the Angels.
