The Tigers' Miguel Cabrera maintained his lead at first base for the second straight week in voting for the American League All-Star starters.

New voting totals were released Monday. Final voting results will be announced Sunday at 7:30 p.m., and the deadline for fans to vote (online only) is 11:59 p.m. Thursday. The All-Star Game is July 14 in Cincinnati.

Cabrera has nearly 11.6 million votes -- about 2.4 million ahead of second-place Eric Hosmer of the Royals.

The Tigers' Jose Iglesias is still second at shortstop, trailing the Royals' Alcides Escobar by about 2.7 million votes. And Yoenis Cespedes remains fourth in the outfield, 1.4 million votes short of a starting assignment.

The Royals had eight players in the lead at their positions last week but now that is down to five -- Omar Infante at second base, Escobar, Salvador Perez at catcher, and Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon in the outfield.
