Minneapolis -- Shane Greene makes his first start for the Tigers since June 10 as Detroit plays its last game before the All-Star break on Sunday against the Twins at Target Field. First pitch is 2:10 p.m.

The Tigers, at 44-43, are just one game above .500 and eight games behind the Royals in the AL Central.

The Tigers were 53-38 at the All-Star break last season and went on to their fourth straight division title.

Greene (6-7) was demoted in June after his ERA climbed to 5.82 after four consecutive losses. Kyle Gibson (7-6, 3.04 ERA) starts for the Twins.

In five starts during his stay in Toledo, Greene was 1-1 with a 3.42 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP.

The Tigers will come out of the All-Star break with a three-game home series against the Orioles starting on Friday.
