Baseball Hall of Famer John Smoltz of Lansing Waverly High will join Joe Buck as the No. 1 team in Fox TV's broadcast booth in 2016.

Smoltz will be an analyst and he and Buck will replace Tom Verducci and Harold Reynolds, Fox confirmed to the New York Daily News.

Smoltz, the one-time Tiger prospect, was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2015 in his first year of eligibility. The 1995 World Series champion with the Braves is the only pitcher in MLB history with 200 wins and 150 saves; he had 213 and 154, respectively.
