Tigers left-hander Justin Wilson was one of three relievers who combined to hold the Blue Jays hitless Tuesday.

Lakeland, Fla. — The Tigers at least got some use out of the three-inning rainout against the Blue Jays Tuesday.

They got a scoreless inning out of the back end of their bullpen — Justin Wilson, Mark Lowe and Francisco Rodriguez all got their work in. They didn’t allow a hit.

The Tigers scored two unearned runs in the first. Victor Martinez, in his first game since March 14 (hamstring strain), lined out.

Matt Boyd was scheduled to start, but with a 28-minute delay at the start of the game and with a large weather cell hovering, manager Brad Ausmus decided to make it a bullpen game. Boyd will start Thursday.

It was the third rainout this spring for the Tigers.
