TigerFest tickets go on sale Friday

Tickets for the annual TigerFest at Comerica Park will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. online at tigers.com/tigerfest or by calling 866-66-TIGER.

TigerFest will be on Saturday, Jan. 21, and a list of players attending will be announced next month.

Tickets are $28 for adults and $14 for kids 12-and-under.

Tigers players will be available for photos and autographs, and they will participate in question-and-answer sessions, seminars and clinics.

Among the TigerFest features:

* The Tigers clubhouse and visitors’ dugout will be open.

* A self-guided tour includes stops in the Ernie Harwell Media Center, a luxury suite, the Jack Daniel’s Champions Club, and select Tigers executive offices.

* Live ice sculpting demonstrations by Ice Sculptures Ltd.

* David Chandler from Chandler Bats will operate a bat lathe and will provide live bat carving demonstrations.

* Baseball-themed games and activities for kids.
