Tigers' Ian Kinsler left in the seventh inning of Wednesday's loss with hamstring tightness.

Detroit – Just as the Tigers welcomed Miguel Cabrera off the disabled list, now they are keeping their fingers crossed regarding second baseman Ian Kinsler.

He came out of the game in the seventh inning of Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Indians, complaining of left hamstring tightness.

“I haven’t talked to Kins yet, but his hamstring tightened up,” manager Brad Ausmus said. “I couldn’t tell you what the status was.”

Kinsler, who was not available after the game, is expected to be re-evaluated Thursday morning.

Andrew Romine finished the game at second base.
