Tigers radio man Dan Dickerson on shelf with lost voice

The Tigers added a man to the disabled list Sunday.
It's not a player – but a play-by-play man, Dan Dickerson, who's dealing with a lost voice.
He wrote on Twitter on Sunday, before the series finale in Kansas City, that he will miss Sunday's game and the first two games of the upcoming series in Texas, Monday and Tuesday.
"Voice left me sometime between last night and this morning – feel fine, just no voice," Dickerson wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
Steve Stewart, a play-by-play man on Royals' broadcasts, was set to fill in for Dickerson on 97.1 on Sunday, while Detroit media staple Matt Shepard, the voice of Michigan basketball and Eastern Michigan football, gets the first two games in Texas.
Attempts to reach Dickerson for comment were not made. Again, he has no voice.
Shepard was to do the Tigers-Royals game on Fox Sports Detroit on Sunday, with Mario Impemba back in Metro Detroit to attend Saturday’s graduation of his son, Daniel, from Michigan State.
