Pups tag along with Tiger fans at Bark in Park

Comerica Park was the place for fans of dogs and baseball alike Monday.

The Tigers won after 11 losses to their Central Division rivals. Coincidence that they ended the skid with the pups in the park?

It was “Bark at the Park,” an event that lets Detroit Tigers devotees attend a game at the park with their dogs.

For the latest version, canines from “Butter” to “Zeus” frolicked in the stands, some wearing blue-and-orange Tigers gear, watching the team face the Cleveland Indians. A party area featured water stations, doggie “restrooms” and other amenities for the furry and four-legged.

Three other such “dog days” are scheduled for 2018, and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Michigan Humane Society, organizers said.
