Pistons guard Spencer Dinwiddie joined Farm Bureau Insurance CEO Jim Robinson in reading to children Monday at Southwest Solutions in Detroit to promote literacy.

The event was part of the Pistons' March is Reading Month program sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance. Dinwiddie and Robinson joined children and family members in basketball- themed activities, which included jumping, dribbling and shooting contests and Pistons trivia.

Each family received a book to take home.
