Pistons’ Jennings makes progress in rehabilitation

The Detroit News

The Pistons announced Monday that point guard Brandon Jennings has been cleared by doctors to “continue a steady progression of basetball-related rehabilitation activities geared toward a return to the basketball court.”

That includes strength and conditioning work, cardiovascular exercises, basketball-related activities and an eventual return to the practices and full-contact drills, the team said in a statement.

There remains no timetable for Jennings’ return.

Jennings suffered a ruptured left Achilles tendon Jan. 24 against Milwaukee. He had played in 41 games, averaging 15.4 points and 6.6 assists in his second season in Detroit.
