In their most important game of the season, the Wizards may again be without their best player.

All-Star point guard John Wall, who missed the Wizards’ win over the Nets on Wednesday, has an injured right knee and likely won’t play Friday night at The Palace as Washington looks to stave off elimination from the playoffs.

The Pistons (42-37) can clinch a playoff spot with a win.

Wall did not participate in Friday morning’s shoot-around; he was listed as questionable for the game and wasn’t optimistic about this outlook.

“I don’t know,” Wall told the Washington Post’s Jorge Castillo. “Probably not, to be honest.”

Wall underwent an MRI, which didn’t show any structural damage. He hasn’t missed any games this season and leads the Wizards (38-40) with 19.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 10.2 assists.
