Jeremy Lin scored 21 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 101-94 victory over the Pistons in the exhibition opener for both teams Thursday in New York.

Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 17 points and 21 rebounds while Marcus Morris added 17 points. Tobias Harris had 15 points and Jon Leuer 12 for Detroit.

Joe Harris had 12 points and Luis Scola 10 for Brooklyn.
