PISTONS VS. KNICKS

What: Detroit Pistons (6-5) vs. New York Knicks (4-6)

When: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.

Where: Madison Square Garden, New York

Local TV: Fox Sports Detroit

Local radio: 105.1 FM

Outlook: With Andre Drummond sidelined by a sprained ankle, Aron Baynes had 20 points and eight rebounds to help the Pistons beat the Thunder 104-88 on Monday night at the Palace. “They got me the ball in great position, and all I had to do is finish," Baynes said. "They were drawing the defense and I was left with the easy part.” . . . Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis each scored 24 points in the Knicks' 93-77 victory over the Mavericks in New York on Monday. The Knicks benched Joakim Noah, their big free-agent signing, starting guard Justin Holiday and moving Porzingis to center in a small lineup. "Coach made the decision to play small,” Noah said. “I didn’t get to play, everybody wants to play."
