Outlook: Kristaps Porzingis scored a career-high 35 points and the Knicks held on for a 105-102 victory over the Pistons on Wednesday night. “The guy had a great night and some of what he did is unstoppable,” Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said. “But when he outruns you down the floor for a dunk off a missed shot, not a turnover, that’s inexcusable.” . . . The Pacers beat the LeBron-less Cavaliers 103-92 on Wednesday night. James, averaging 23.4 points and 8.9 rebounds, sat out for the first time this season. “It doesn’t matter about LeBron not playing,” Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said. “We just lost the game.”
