Hollywood appears to suit former Detroit Pistons big man Boban Marjanovich.
The 7-foot-3 Serbian center, who was traded from the Pistons to the Los Angeles Clippers in February as part of the Blake Griffin blockbuster deal, has been cast in "John Wick: Chapter 3," according to a report on the entertainment site Collider.
Marjanovich, Jeff Sneider of Collider writes, will be cast as an assassin in the third installment of the series of films, which star Keanu Reeves as a retired hit man who is reluctantly pulled back into his old line of work to avenge personal losses.
Marjanovich played parts of two seasons in Detroit, from 2016-18, averaging 5.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 8.6 minutes over 54 games. He was one of three players the Pistons sent to Los Angeles for Griffin, joining forward Tobias Harris and guard Avery Bradley, along with their first-round pick in this month's NBA draft.
"John Wick: Chapter 3" is scheduled to be released May 17, 2019.
